The Congressional Medal Of Honor Society has updated their webpage and has much to offer. There is now a searchable database of all recipients and many photographs.

Civil War researchers may find this site of interest as well. It is the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War. They have an extensive database of Civil War graves and information on the individual is often included.
